I am getting a lot of use out of my Col Conk Almond. I got the 2.25 oz puck and have been using it since August. I keep it in a small tuperware container and I only shave every second day. I recently wore through the middle of the puck, but I just broke it up into pieces and smashed it back into the tupperware tub. Now I have an irregular shaped puck that looks like it will hold out for another couple of months.

Wish it would disappear faster. So much stuff to try.

some examples from soaps and creams I've tried. Figures are partly speculative because I rotate through 2 dozen different (or so) soaps and creams, and so I don't finish one off very often. Also, I used a freaking huge brush, so I go thru this stuff faster than a guy with a small brush.

    1. classic shaving shave cream --> judging from how much I've used, the jar will give me 100 shaves or a bit less. I pick the cream up from the jar with a 28mm brush, so it gets used up pretty fast.
    2. proraso (bigelow) shave cream --> at least 250 shaves. the tube is huge and also I can squeeze out just enough rather than pick up gobs of it with my monster brush.
    3. colonel ichabod conk shave soap --> I have actually finished one of these, it lasted about 80-90 shaves.
    4. chelsea's soap garden shave soap --> this has a lot of shea butter and bentonite in it, so it's soft and doesn't last as long. 60-70 shaves, but oh so worth it.
    5. st. charles shave shave soap --> haven't finished one yet. a very hard soap, at the rate I'm going, each will last about 125 shaves or so.
    6. my redneck soap --> only 60-70 shaves per puck (and the pucks are eyeballed and not consistent). I put a huge amount of glycerine in my soap, so it lathers well, but sadly doesn't last very long.

I've been using a tube of Derby mentol 100 gram size for 3 weeks now. Barely put a dent in it.

A tub usually last a couple of years for me but I use several at a time. I would guess I get about six months worth.

On a side note I just got a shavemac brush. This thing is a shave cream hog. I need to use more than double what I use from my no name brush I got as a gift.

    5.8 oz x 32 = 185.6 shaves
Please keep exact count and let me know how close I was
