Default Yup, these guys are goooooood

OK, so I'm a broken record. I keep saying ad naseum about how all us newbs need to get a blade honed by a honemeister to really experience a good straight shave, and also to have a target to shoot for when honing.

Well, I gotta say it again...wait... I just did.

Anyway, the reason I'm repeating myself yet again: I just got my second honemeister honed razor back today. Glen did the first, and Lynn did the latest.

Guys, these fine gentlemen play their hones like fine instruments. Truly amazing edges from them both.

If you still haven't gotten yourself a honemeister sharpened blade, DO IT, and do it NOW! Your face will thank you for it.

    Glen and Lynn, thank you!!

i don't wanna send mine away because the jealousy i would feel afterwards towards the honemeisters would be unbarable!

no but really i have been thinking about doing this as of late because i am getting better at honing and would love to know where i stand. or would I? ha! just kidding.

Yeah, I gotta tell ya, chee, it was a humbling experience when I got my first honmeister sharpened blade back. It totally redefined "sharp".

Totally OT, but I got my Shaptons!

I've got to get some of my baldes done up by a honemeister soon. Last time they were done, i was a complete newb so a) I didn't appreciate what "sharp" was, and b) I probably messed the blades up a touch.
I've started honing, and know EXACTLY where I stand....Nowhere close to where I need to be.

PS- glad those shaptons came. I'm still holding off!
