Hello
mi name is Marc, I have been wet shaving for about one year now and and into my third straight shave, no nicks ,no razor burn ,just a good shaves so far and I cant beleve how good a shave im getting, I have a 5/8 duvo it's caled a LE COIFFEUR by solingen, I sent it to Classic shving to be made shave redy, I stroped it on a pece of leather and it's been good.Fun hobby, clad I found you guy's.Just wanted to say Hello!.

Has anny of you guy's no this razor le coiffour from solligen? is it any good?

the only place i can find is Lee Valley Tools, they have diamond paste and have all the Norton hones, some cool magnifiers too. check out their site as they are really easy to deal with.

other then that you might have to go over the border unfortunately, but the vendors in here are usually pretty good to deal with, conversion rate sucks right now though. the only other lead i had and i haven't really checked into it any further is jewelry supplies. some small jewelers might order you some paste. my sister is a jeweler as said she can get a variety of different things as far as pastes go. i would post it on here first to make sure it is what you are looking for but it may work out.

I was reading on one of the newb treads and the instructions said there was only one kind of paste to use on the strop. I think it was White or yellow? The others are too abrasive. (Its words not mine.)

It said just to use a leather oil, or even olive oil. Again, I know nothing, but that is what the site said.
