Hey, Was looking at the "edwin jagger" buffalo horn razor on the above page. is this still a dovo razor? Looks exactly like Dovo's buffalo horn razor but with differend logo on the blade....and its 50pound cheaper than the dovo site!!

Any thoughts/recommendations?

I believe that it is the same razor stamped with the EJ logo. They also sell a Thiers Issard le Grelot with their logo and happens to be cheaper than the ones without the logo found elsewhere. I think that there is a difference in the ground of some of these Le Grelot razors though. Both Tania and Tatiana are excellent people and I am sure that they would be able to help you out, send them an email. They are super fast. A call would work too...

I f you look at the ad you have linked it says DOVO in big blue letters!

The grind at the heel of the blade looks different that the ones I have of that type. But other than that as they said, they are the same. they just shaped the blade differently, Maybe they started doing that to the other ones of that type as well though.
