Default Coming back with my straights

I have been with this forum since 07 and I am still in the newbie section. Started with straights in 07 and left for the double edges and since have come back with some encouragement from forum members. Getting better at the cheecks and have not gotten to the lip and chin yet, taking this all slowly. So I am back and hoping to replace eight double edges with one straight, will save room in the shave den not to mention the blade costs.

Welcome back, if it was me I would sell some of the DEs and pick up a backup shave ready straight.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Hopefully when I get to a competent level with the straight. Which I am proud to say I have never cut myself with ever.

Welcome back to the right way to shave! That's the ticket. Take your time and get comfortable. Shaving with a straight razor is not a natural act (a large, open, very sharp edge being manipulated in awkward ways).
