You may want to try an X pattern if the strop does not cover the blade, perhaps even if it does.

put about 25 on the 4K then 10 on the 8k about four or five times then the blade was good enough to shave with, then did a pyramid 10-10 5-5 3-5 1-5, then stropped the blade about 50 times. The shave was better than a disposable, but wouldn't pass the hair test.

Will stone it again tomorrow and it should be SHARP or mostly there. It really should be crazy sharp by the time I'm able to shave the right side of my face. It's looking good and I haven't cut myself yet so I'm in NO HURRY at all.
