I'm stuck with the Mock 3 right now, but I do use a badger brush and soap for lather. Like I said in my intro I have a Dubl Duck and Tony Miller strop on the way, so I'm JUST getting started. I never tried DE shaving before, never really had the ambition. Actually for some strange reason they scare me more than straights do
It's probably because I've known some guys who have cut themselves up pretty good using DE razors, whereas I don't know anyone personally who uses a straight.

I'm with the others, where are the pictures?

I started with the green paste and the paddle strop from Lee Valley also. Works well for me. Unfortunately, the slope was slippery for me and now I have a 220/1k Norton and 4k/8k Norton. I find an excuse to hit up Lee Valley about every 2 weeks, and always seem to be able to smuggle stuff into the house.

    Cool man!

    It's small world.

Have you been able to find any good shaving stuff in Saint John?

I'm actually moving to Saint John in a few months

Not really...picked up a safety razor at the army surplus about a year ago...cleaned up quite nice, but I don't use it anymore.

I've looked around for straight razors and other stuff, but haven't happened upon anything.

I don't think NB is exactly a shaving mecca. I get all my stuff online. I'm waiting for my first three straights and just cannot wait to get them. If only USPS's website was better....They haven't updated the status of my package since last wednesday! Hopefully I'll have it this week.
