The best way to sell them would be on eBay -- let the market determine what they're
    worth!

If you want to post some pictures, then some of the members may be able to give you an idea of what the average value is. However, the razors may go for more or less on ebay. If you post them for a reasonable price on the classifieds on this forum, then you can be pretty well assured that they will sell.

Welcome. Have you ever thought of shaving with the razors yourself? You're in a position with 9 razors that many new members wish they were in. Where/how/why did your wife collect these razors? Unless the razors are in very good condition or are particularly sought after for other reasons, if her razors were a familial acquisition (Dad's, Grandpa's, etc), then you may be thinking/hoping they're worth more than they really are.

I'm not trying to burst any bubbles, here. It's just that it happens fairly often that someone has Great Grandpa's old razor that has broken scales and a large chip on the blade and because it's a family heirloom of sorts, it should be worth something when it could literally be worthless.

I honestly hope the opposite for you! Ebay is IMO the best place to sell razors with the best chance of getting the highest price. That said, I do believe razor sellers on Ebay that know nothing about razors often get less than someone who properly and accurately describes a razor to their audience: razor users and collectors.

Pictures would REALLY help us help you.

You said it so much more eloquently than I did! But, your thoughts were the thoughts that I was also trying to communicate.
Hope we can be of some help!

You will need some excellent pictures to sell them on Ebay or here in the Classifieds section.

Post them here first so we can give you some idea of the value.

It there is rust on the edge, both sides of the blade, then that is usually a deal killer. A cracked blade also. Cracked/busted scales really reduce the value. Truly valuable razors are rare. A good price requires that they be almost mint. The reason why is that there are so many of them available.
