Welsome to SRP! I hope you enjoy your stay, it's a great place for help, advice and support.

I was in Calgary two years ago, just missed the Stampeede though. Would love to get back to see it one day.

Well. If you like Proraso products, head to Lina's Italian Market on Centre St North.

I bought most of my stuff from Fendrihan.com | Merkur Safety Razors Shaving Creams Shave Brushes in Brampton Ontario.

Don't quote me on this but i have herd that Dovo razors do come with a "factory hone" on them. Not sure if that's shave ready or not tho.

Yes, they are honed at the factory, but that doesn't get them where most of us like our razors to be. You can always try a factory edge and one honed by a member here and see the difference.

I honed and stropped mine before I used it.

As well, there's a knife shop at Chinook Centre and they may or may not have razors in stock right now. I've read that the fellow who runs that shop hones, and is a straight user. He's got a large selection of hones as well. I didn't find his shop until after I had bought all my stuff online.

Anyway, there are some options for us who are north of the USA.
