Thread: FIRST SHAVE

I just finnished with my first straight razor shave this morning. The razor is a F.W.E special that was honed by Lynn Abrams himself. (Thanks again Lynn) I can't belive the edge he put on this razor. I just hope I can some day learn to hone myself. But I sat and watched the "World of straight razor shaving" a few times and it really helped answer a lot of the questions I had. I was still very nervous when I finally put that razor to my face. But I stayed calm, took my time, followed Lynns advice from the DVD and I am very happy with the results. I had no cuts, blood or razor burn. The only problem I had was a few missed whiskers on my chin that I had to go over with a disposable. I am so glad I tried it. It is without a doubt worth the extra time and effort.
