Thread: So I go to the Barber . . part II

I needed to get my Wapi stropped (I just sent out for a strop from Ken) and casually inquired about any remaining razors that he may have. As a result not only did he strop my Wapi but he also gave me two more straights (he gave me a Crown & Sword on my first visit) I'll post pics later, but the two new ones in my collection are a Puma Solingen #18 and a Kropp (on the blade it says: Agents-Robert Kelly and Sons ltd Liverpool and Manchester)

These are in great condition when compared to the Crown and Sword which has pitting on the spine.

The Kropp looks to be a bit bigger than my 5/8 Wapi the Puma is HUGE.

I can't wait for next weeks installment. I suspect soon the barber will turn out to be your long lost Father. You do have a long lost Father right? Argh, I think this literature class may be getting to me.

I'm going to donate the Crown & Sword to the Pass it on crowd (if it's salvageable) however if I do so I would love to get the puma and the Kropp honed and cleaned up.
