    Smile Oldie Newbie?

Not a newb, but haven't been on for a long time. Back now, though! Glad to see a lot of friendly old names still here! Welcome to all the new guys since I went to ground!

    And Hi Lynn! LOL!

Looooooooong time no see. Welcome back. I've been holding down the fort as best I could.

Since you've been gone we've thrown out the x pattern for honing, we use a sweeping kinda B pattern now, and we all shave with titanium razors. Oh, no, I'm mistaken, nothings really changed.

Oh, except all the guys throwing their blades into brass cleaners for polishing, some weird dancing badger, a ladies forum, a DE forum, and lots of the weird things called "get togethers", kind a like political conventions or something.

    Welcome back.

    Good to see ya!
A number of guys are grinding their own razors. Many are making custom scales, razor restoration is becoming a small industry, the latest rage is the Shapton glass hones! But the new guys still need the basics... a helping hand. I just had 2 new guys over to my house this evening and honed their razors for them.

    Hope all is better,
