Thread: Another First(3) shave(s)!!

So I've actually been shaving with a straight for about a week and a half now, but decided to wait to post the traditional first shave post. I'm currently using a Gottlieb kinda broken spanish point with a barber's notch.

First shave went pretty well, only did a WTG stroke, and only nicked myself once doing the cheeks and the neck. Finished up with an M3. Second shave was a disaster. Must have gone too fast or maybe had the wrong angle/pressure, but man that razor pulled more hairs than I thought possible. I was bleeding for a good ten minutes after the shave was done.

Third time must be the charm, because this was one beautiful shave. Really gave myself the time to do it this time, took a hot shower, used Glen's fail-safe lathering method(holy crap Glen, thanks, that was one nice lather, and yes, I know you didn't invent it, but thanks for passing it on). Only cut myself once, and that was due to a little pimple on the top lip(which I actually finished off with the M3).
