    Default First shave, sucsess?!

So iI just had my first shave and only had one little nic(on my ear ) and I think that was because I was trying to go to quickly. The razor I used was a H. Boker I bought at an antique store and honed my self. It seemed to pull rather than cut a little on the toe and heel, but not to bad. I dont plan on str8 shaving again untill I send and get back another razor to Lynn for honing. This i figure will show me the differance in a so-so honing and a nice sharp razor. I belive my first shave was O.K. but eagerly await my second with a fine. I also found the left hand hold a little ocword and hope this will change with experiance. I did not find the jaw line or neck to be much of a problem but I did have to switch back to my mach3 for finnish up work around the goat. Any ways, just thought I'ld share, and any tips or thought would be appriciated.

    p.s. sorry, I'm a BAD speller

That sounds like pretty good success, and yes, your a little ocward (sic) in the spelling department, but hey, I spelled taut as taught for years, before anyone mentioned it.

    Welcome.

    LOL

I'm sure you will notice a dramatic difference in the shave with your freshly honed razor from Lynn. Shaving with a truly shave-ready razor is a very different experience!

Congrats on the first shave, and props for trying to hone the razor yourself. I've not even thought about that, yet.

welcome !!! Glad to hear of your first successful shave....

The only thing I'd like to suggest for you to do in your shaving routine is TAKE YOUR TIME. It's your time... Don't rush and enjoy it

If I don't have time to shave today , I'll wait till tomorrow (more hair to shave )

plus you won't nick your ear.
