Default Just bought my first razors

    Hello everyone,

I just bought these two razors off ebay.

Do they look like they're worth getting sharpened by someone and attempting to shave with?
I'll take some better pictures when they arrive as it's a bit hard to tell the condition of them in the ebay pictures.

If not I guess I'll just keep them to use for practising honing when I get some stones. Which by the way are pretty expensive, heh.
I was looking at getting a Norton 4k/8k and a chinese 12k from woodcraft. I bet shipping to Australia is pretty pricey aswell, does anyone know of any aussie stores that sell these stones?

I can't help you with Australian sources. Your razors look like they will clean up fine. It's hard to tell from the photos but I've returned many razors in a lot worse shape back to service.

Those look like they will clean up just fine. You may want to ask around the honing section to see if anyone there is in your area.

Those should turn out to be nice shavers. Send 'em out!
