    Default It's getting better

    Hey guys another update...

It was only my second shave today and it was already a whole lot better than the first.
I was feeling pretty confident and was less shaky, I guess that had a lot to do with it.
Anyways... my cheeks and neck turned out smoother than I expected. Still not BBS, but I'm not trying to, yet. I need to work on my angles and that stuff first, but I actually surprised myself with what I was able to do with the blade.
I pretty much did my entire face WTG.
The only part that I couldn't really get was my chin, but I understand that it's the most difficult part.
I had to finish it up with my M3, but hey, it's getting there. So, another few weeks/months/years and I'll be a pro at it.
Got a little bit of a razor burn, probably cuz my angles are off, but no more than I would have with a dull M3.

    Oh well...

Let the hair grow back so I can practice some more.
I'm starting to like it already.

Congrats! A light touch and the right angle are certainly a key. You can get a good shave with the wrong angle and more pressure, but you'll be left with irritation for sure.

Keep it up - it just takes time! I think I went 3 or 4 weeks before I got a really really nice shave....but even a bad straight shave is better (and more fun) than a good cartridge shave!!

Just take it one step at a time , and don't worry about the BBS . Before you know it , you'll be throwing your Mach 3 in the trash .

    Thanx guys.

Crichton, you got that right, it's alot more fun. I'm not really anticipating a "good" shave for at least another couple of weeks, so I'm right on schedule.

My wife has to get used to it more than me... For some reason she thinks she has to check up on me and see if I'm still alive, since it takes a little longer. lol
My M3 is moving closer and closer to the trash can.

I'll let you guys know if there's any progress.
