    Default Dear Faucet

    Dear Faucet

At first I thought that I should never get to meet you, let alone as it came to pass, this lovely Sunday morning where we quite unexpectedly bumped into one another.
Although you may seem crude and unforgiving to some, I see you as an opportunity to better myself. For now, through additional experience, the hand that guides us all through life, can do so again much earlier than previously planned.
Maybe I will reach a new level of keen, unrivalled by my peers, so that I may become favourite.

    yours - F. Boker

    Dear Boker,

Sorry about the introduction we got, but as you know I am an
immovable object. Perhaps you should talk to your owner about
one of the cardinal sins of straight razor shaving. Hopefully we
won't meet like that again. I have feelings to you know.

    Sincerely,

    The Faucet

    John

That REALLY sucks ! I'm no honemiester , but I've restored a few razors for my own use , so I speak only from my own experience . I would first check to make sure the blade isn't cracked , and I would start on the Norton 220/1000 , on the 220 side first .
Greetings , from Dundalk , Maryland . The place where normal people , fear to go .

Good luck. I hop the 4000 can handle it for you, I did that once and I couldn't do it myself, but Lynn managed to get me fixed right up. So don't worry to much it will be fixed one way or the other. Don't forget about circles one the stone they really speed up the hard work

    Chady,

Sorry to hear about the mishap. I have conditioned myself to turn the razor spine down after a faucet rinse and before a drying shake. That way the strongest and broadest part of the blade should strike metal if I have a lapse of spatial dynamics. So far, good. And good luck to you on your razor's restoration.

Oh man... Sorry to hear of the mishap... I avoid faucet confrontation by wiping the lather off with a wet towel. I think I picked that habit up from Lynn.
