It may not be too late, if you call Jim first thing Monday. He's very flexible, and easy to talk to. He can advise you on the differences and help you decide which one is better for you. Mind, it's no real biggie either way. But if the order hasn't left his shop yet then I suspect he'll be happy to modify it.

Thanked: 2I think I'm fine with a 5/8, there's nothing terribly extraordinary about my face or beard and it sounds like most people seem to think a 5/8 is the best place to start.

Thanked: 44Jim is a good guy and you went with a great place. You can't go wrong with one of his kits. FYI I am still making newb kits though everyone seem to want my high end razors so there is a wait while I make them of 2 or 3 weeks. If you want one let me know.
