    Default Quick Intro

Hi, I'm Chris Shotwell and have about a month of straight razor shaving under my belt. I wanted to thank everyone here for being a great resource (whether they knew it or not). Thanks to the information available here, I have been able to take two razors and hone them to HHT sharpness. Also, I am getting great shaves with very little irritation from both razors, something I could never do with the old Mach 3. Thanks again for answering the questions everyone has asked, without these questions and answer I probably never would have been to do this so quickly and easily.

Welcome to the SRP! Glad to hear that you were able to hone your razors. Thats a very good accomplishment.

Well, I've had lots of practice doing knife and woodworking sharpening, so its not that different a concept. The only really difficult part was doing the research to find the best ways to do everything...until I found SRP. So to everyone that asked the questions and even more to those who answered them, thanks again.
