    Default Can someone explain the points to me

    I have looked around and can't seem to find a solid answer on this. I see razors described as Spanish, Spike, Square, etc. What are the different points and what are they good for? Sorry if this has been discussed else where but I couldn't find it. Thanks!

    Except that we tend to call them:
    spike =spike
    Half round= square
    round= round
    oblique= french

    spanish point is similar to a frenh but there is usually a "step" leading to a sharper point...

    has that muddied the waters enough?
    Be just and fear not.
