    Add your location to your profile and try to find someone close to you for some one on one help, you might get a free hone lesson and a honed razor from it plus LOTS pointers

    The yellow scaled one (with no gold wash) at the top of post 14 would be the one I would start with.
    It has a lot of hone wear and looks like the blade might have a frown.
    I don't think you can damage it much more by learning blade restoration with it.

    Step one: Make sure your tetanus shot is up to date!
    I've cut myself more doing clean ups than I have shaving.

    I would tend to agree with chriswilson10. I'd start with metal polish and see what that reveals. I always go with least invasive process first

    Which one would be the best to get started shaving with for a beginner?
    I would love any feedback on the individual razors. (age, history, price...)
