Thread: Proud new owner of a Dovo razor

Thanks to an early Christmas present from my girlfriend, I am now the proud owner of a Dovo Special razor with tortoiseshell handle.

I began looking into getting a razor and accessories earlier in the year to neaten the edges of my beard. I've been researching and trying to wean what I can from experienced shavers, when suddenly this appeared for me

I have to say, I am quite impressed with its edge out of the box. Yes, against a lot of good advice I couldn't resist the urge to try it out, and it did a great job. However, in the box is where it will now stay until I can get it honed and can get my hands on a strop (I'm already arranging to hone it now).

I'm very happy with my new acquisition. Now I know what I'll be doing when my future daughter brings home her first boyfriend; I'll be shaving

Since your in Oz's territory I do hope you'll be sending that DOVO to him. Trust me you won't be disappointed.

I'm in touch with Oz. I'm taking it out to him for honing, and I'll wean all I can from him while I'm there

As far as I'm aware, she bought it from Men's Biz in the Sydney Strand
