    Default First straight razor shave

So after getting the delivery email I was eagerly awaiting for the past week I get home to find my delivery from srd.
Unwrapped it all like an excited kid at Christmas.

Stropped the new dovo lathered up and away I went. The difference between the shavette and the real deal was chalk and cheese.
I'm well and truely sold on the wet shave. Now to begin the collection of razors haha.

Congrats, nothing like getting a good experience on your first straight razor shave.

When I read your post and it said strop and shave, I thought it was going to be another I rolled my edge post. They happen from time to time but luckily not to you. Great to hear it went well. When on your quest for new razors be sure to check the classifieds here regularly, there are some good deals that go through but don't hang around for long. Happy shaving!

The Rad, Had, Bad and many others come quickly, but don't change things up early on. Try to stay consistent for at least two weeks. Use the same brush, soap, and razor. Just my two cents
I am very appreciative of all the knowledge and sharing each and everyone has provided me with. Look forward to future endeavors with many of you.

I too, Just got my Dovo bismarch 6/8. Love the look of it. Have enjoyed the first two SR shaves enormously with no nicks or blood draw. lol. I'm sold on wet shaving for sure. Already purchased another SR. ( Vintage Wade & Butcher 6/8 wedge ). Collection started.
