Hi and welcome. Was your razor brought pro sharpened or just factory edge. It can make a big difference to your shaves. Good luck with your technique

It was factory sharpened by Dovo, I assumed that was good enough since people seem to recommend the brand. I had some Welsh Slate Hones so I might hit then early if the next shave goes as bad as that one.

But this one was definitely BAD ANGLE

Welcome aboard, now might be a good time to put the emergency services number on speed dial ;-)

I'm dying laughing here! The look on your face is priceless. I laugh, but I remember my first several shaves and how I was cut up.

That isn't shave ready bubut obably half to 3 quarters there. Send it to a pro so that you have a benchmark for shave ready. You are unlikely to get it there yourself starting out. If you want to start honing buy a cheap decent quality razor and learn on that as your going to add a lot of wear before you have it down.

Ahh yes!! You obviously don't need to watch any videos or research. Get that blade as sharp as possible and then start making videos to show the rest of the world how to properly put a sharp object to your throat and scrape the skin along with the hair right off to BBS (bloody but smooth)! Lol.

Of course, I jest and do welcome you here. You'll be a true pro in no time.
What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one
