Thanked: 3First 100% cut & nick free shave!
Proud to announce that my 12th shave was the first I've managed with no cuts or nicks. It has also been the shave with the least razor burn afterwards. I think I am starting to get the hang of this although I have a TON left to learn.
Anyway, just wanted to share the awesomeness feeling. I hope this will encourage others who have also been struggling...

It will get better, right?
Thanks manueiz for the encouraging report. I just finished SR shave #5 with no cuts or nicks BUT, I did only one pass all over and it felt like half my beard was still on my face! I know it's called beard reduction not BBS, one pass does not do it all. I know, I know, patience, patience. My frustration comes from DE shaving for years with ease and optimum results. I have to buy into the premise of one step (or several) backwards before it turns into the nirvana that many on this site are experiencing. Wish I had started to use the SR back a few years!

Thanked: 3Congrats!
My best shave was #6, tonight will be #9 however i have to shave 5 days a week and I feel like the razor burn compounds from 1 day to the next. To be honest I have been using a shitty shavette with shittier blades, but I just got a whole lot of new blades and a parker SR1 in the mail so hopefully tonight will be better then #6.
Keep up the good work and smooth shaving.
