Default First Refresh - like seeing an old friend again

A number of you suggested that I send my first razor (Noonan and Sons Arabic) in to be refreshed. Started watching Lynn's videos on YouTube (Lynn, you are the man!) and thought that I'd give this refreshing thing a shot. 7 strokes on a restored Raven barber hone, 7 more on a CrO (0.3 micron) treated canvas strop. 60 strokes on the bison strop, then test shave. Like I said, it was like coming home to an old friend. Smooth, no resistance/tugging. Just a clean comfortable shave. Thanks, everyone for all of your excellent advice. Especially, you, Lynn.

Just refreshed a George Wostenholm & Sons IXL Frame Back yesterday with a Swaty 3 line barber hone, Crox pasted paddle strop, Ferrous Oxide pasted paddle strop, SRD Poly fabric & leather strop and shaved with it last night.....NICE!! It's amazing what a little touch up can do.
