Thread: Razor Losing sharpness half way through shave

I agreed whit others about the lather who dried out and it happen to me to somtimes but i just re lather and the problem is solved. I understand why all the veteran shaver recommend a wetter lather, the lather is sliker and the blade slide Easy on the face, that i found anyway

Hey all, good point on the lather, I read this a while ago and after 2.5 yrs of shaving still lather in sections although i could get away with it. I prefer to have the lather nice and wet as well as a clean lathered brush for the next section.

I also strop the blade on the ridge end of my left hand (ala mastro Livi) before I go under the nose just to make sure that the edge is nice and clean.

If your lather is not the answer and it is not coming up on paste then time for a refresh send her off.
