    Cory,
    That is a very generous offer and i appreciate it. I have it in my mind to restore it myself in the future. I have another old razor that has no sentimental value, which i can practice on.

    Glad to hear you gave it another try with the Dovo. Get the Top Flight properly sharpened and then you'll really love your new hobby!

    If the Top Flite is a heirloom, do yourself a favour and get the restore done by a professional. There is a fair bit that goes into a restore and it can go wrong if you have not got enough experience. Rule one, remember that the blade is tempered and heat can destroy that.
    A good lather is half the shave.
