Sharks are my Go-To blades, love them,,, never had a problem with any of them & I get "5" great shaves out of each blade.
The only blade I like better is Feather,,,

I get five nice shaves,, once pushed it to '8", but the shaves declined after "5".
I use only vintage Gillette's,, in the fall , I'm going to order a new modern DE razor, to see what they are like.

A product from any third world nation could have a rust preventative that is not ideal for sensitive skin.

Any proof or historical evidence of this ever having been the case, or are you "just saying"?

If traveling to the poorest nations on earth dealing with quality issues of contamination is a basis, then my million miles of travel over 20 years might be sufficient. I have seen the craziest issues precluding paint adhesion, almost always in some persons quest to save money and take a good rust preventative and contaminate it with some lesser cost material.

Based in the Middle East for almost 30 years I am familiar with quality control issues in this part of the world.
Yet, I take the fact that you limited your answer to "craziest issues precluding paint adhesion" to mean that you are unable to provide concrete evidence that the "rust preventive" theory that you suggested has ever been witnessed on the Egyptian made Shark stainless safety razor blades.

For the record: we were discussing why a novice DE shaver did not get comfortable shaves with Shark stainless steel blades, not why after your travelling million of miles for 20 years in the poorest countries on earth paint is not adhering to metal parts.

Thank you; that answers my question.

While not everybody may like Shark blades (I for example don't), I believe we would do this thread a disservice if we pursued this particular line of discussion any further.
