Yeah I've read this mentioned else where, really is a great tip. Yes it has been honed before shipping and passes the HHT pretty well compared to the feather pro ac blades.

Hi and welcome to the forum, thats a great looking razor by the way, congrats on the acquisition.

How do you measure the width? Top of the spine to the edge? I ordered 11/16, the box says 11/16 but I measure 6/8??

Once again you are in the YMMV realm

Each company decides how they measure them

Some measure from the top of the spine, some measure from the "touch mark" on the spine, and some measure it slightly low so the razor will be that size "after honing"

I have come to the conclusion after some years of pondering and listening to all the "Tech Talk" that there is not now, nor ever was a set rule

Any rule that I have seen proposed has an easily found exception to the "Rule"

I have 2 TI razors and both of them are slightly wider than the advertised width, I think that is their way of assuring you get at least as much blade as you payed for, and a little extra. I like that, but I like wide blades.
