    i have a buy it now razor on ebay i have questions on, am I allowed to ask it on here?

    any questions for advice on condition etc will be allowed
    just no pricing or evaluation questions are or will be allowed in the open forums as these are to be kept to private messages etc

    cant, i wanted an evaluation to see if its a honeable straight, i have bought a few straight razor looking butterknifes off the bay

    Here's my advice.
    Pull up a bunch of the razor restorer websites and look at the prices of the razors that are of different restored quality. Stay with the same brand for comparison, look specifically at the brand you are looking for.
    Then think about the effort/money it would take for the eBay razor to get to that level of quality. Then subtract that from the restorers price.
    That is what I use for my top bid.
    It's really subjective, but it's a baseline for me to stay within a limit.
    It's a dog eat dog world and I have on milk bone underwear.
