    Now you know for sure. Some like a heavier grind at the beginning stages. As Ed said a shave stick is a stick of shave soap. You have a very good one cheaply available in the UK by Palmolive. This is how they are used .

    The World of Straight Razor DVD tells you what the name implies, a look of how deeply you can get involved later if you want to do so, and you are given instruction on how to do it. Your method may evolve into somewhat different as you gain experience. And of course you can bounce ideas of how these things work with the members here.
