    Default Third Shave

Perfect. Drilled a small hole on the cabinet in front of the sink and permanently mounted the strop. Stropped the razor. Boiled some water and heated the mug and dish. Warm towel on the face. Lathered up. First almost full shave (left the moustache). First time on the chin and neck. First cut. I think the cut needed to happen, part of the ritual. The cut was on the right side, where I always cut myself with my grandfather's safety razor when I first started shaving as a kid. Not surprised, but the right is my dominant hand, the left side with the left hand went better than the right. I went slow, so the lather dried up, had to re-lather a few times. Missed a few small spots. After shave lotion. Cleaned and oiled the razor. Perfect.

Congrats! Interesting that lots of us find the "off" hand does a better job....are we more careful, less heavy handed, ???

Anyway sounds like you're off to a great start!
