    I've always liked the look but could never justify the extra cost without some benefits.
    Keep your concentration high and your angles low!

    Despite the high cost of living, it's still very popular.

    I was curious and shaved with my Mastro Livi Damascus, Rick Pay Damascus, my Snail Forge Wootz, Aust carbon and my Mastro Livi carbon steel razors. All shave great but there is a different feel. Whether that means one shaves better then others is a matter of opinion. I feel in my humble opinion it comes down to which feel I prefer. I also agree that the grind plays an important part in feel.
