    Shave 4

Same prep as normal, used 11/16 vintage WhippedDog Sheffield near wedge, good shave, nicks at same places as yesterday, usually shave every other day, this 3 days in a row to check new (to me) razors. No long term damage, alum block and Neutrogena shave balm cleared it up. Went WTG on cheeks, upper lip and chin, XTG on jawline and ATG/WTG hybrid on neck. Socially acceptable shave because will have to shave tomorrow (Dr.'s) appointment.

    Shave 5

Prepped with Face Scrub. Lathered with ColC Lime and Neutrogena foam. Used Sheffield wedge again, WTG only. Couple of weepers at site of earlier cuts. Comfortable, laid the wedge almost flat on my face, no burn definitely not DFS, but okay to go out. (4 days in a row.

Slowly slowly catchee monkey. Tried to place the sharp bits on skin like a butterfly landing. Wasn't the greatest shave, but goal was for comfort only today. That Sheffield wedge from Whipped Dog passed HHT 1 inch from the holding point and that was after two shaves and only palm stropping. Will probably use the W&B wedge tomorrow, stropping on plain leather bench strop. Then will let face rest Thursday.

    Shave 6

Went back to the W&B meat cleaver. Put it on the plain leather strop, 25 laps. Looking more closely, it is a smiling wedge. WTG all over, XTG above jawline, S->N hybrid XTG/ATG on neck. No new nicks or weepers, comfortable shave. Will take tomorrow off.

    Shave 7

Yesterday. Same prep, used Thiers-Issard Spartacus 6/8. WTG, XTG full face. ATG all except chin and upper lip. Cheeks were almost worthy of faceturbation. Still need to work out angles for chin. 2 weepers, no cuts, stubble not too visible this morning. Razor needed attention, so 100 laps onCrOx, 50 on linen and 25 on latigo. Will probably wait to update until chin issues are solved.

    A little later --

Had a pink-lather day last Tuesday. I had shaved the previous 2 days with a Dovo Best Quality 6/8. It wasfrom a vendor not SRD, but was supposed to be shave ready. Nowhere close, but with some CrOx, plain strop and my face, got it shave ready enough to get an adequate shave. Next up was the Böker Tree 4/8. It was also supposed to be shave ready. Stropped it up and every place I touched it to my face, the edge decided to cut. Not very good. Shaved Friday with my Sheffield near wedge, it managed to open a few of the previous cuts, but nothing else. Shaved with the Sheffield tonight, got WTG, XTG and ATG. Was a DFS with no facial damage. Will probably go back to every other day shaving.

Decided to bump this because this was a near BBS including mustache and chin. Standard prep, shower with Neutrogena face scrub, J&J Baby Shampoo, conditioner fromHampton Inn. Lathered with Col Conk while stropping Dovo Best Quality 6/8 (not from SRD) on a bench strop. Rinsed and reapplied C Conk. WTG with both hands, dominant hand for XTG and ATG. Basically buffed mustache and chin, only less than BBS one portion near adam's apple I didn't notice until I finished. Finished with Thayer's, alum block, Neutrogena post shave balm, and Pinaud Clubman. This closes the thread.
