    Post A very big problem, help before ................

    Hi Guys , i have honed more then 20 razor without big problem but today wanted to hone a Wade & Butcher i got so much problem, tried to fix a bevel but it went so wrong and i dont know why, you can see the pics.Name:  IMG_1546[1].jpg

    Wow ! How did you not realise there was a problem long before you got to that stage ?

    From the hone marks on the spine it appears to have a bow in it, the blade it's self could also be warped.

    i hade tape on spine but when i saw the problem then i took it a way to see if it is problem with spine, i just take a one lap without tape and u see what hapend , destroyed 120 dollar razor, i am pissed off because i bouhgt it from USA, it is difficult to find Wade & Butcher here,

    Just a guess here but tape just the middle of the spine? Let's wait for an expert though.
    Razor rich, but money poor. I should have diversified into Eschers!

    Lots of tape layers wear the tape flat them hone and work back
    Otherwise a regrind required I think
    Saved,
    to shave another day.

    i am pissed off because i fixed the scales and blade , it took many hours to fix it, and then i thought to hone it and take a good shaving but...............................

    when i saw the problem i used 4 layer tape maybe it sounds stupid but i did,it still hapend that what u see
