    Hello everyone,
I have decided to go with whipped dog unseen razor. After reading lots of good reviews I couldn't pass up how cheap it is to get started with an unseen razor and a poor man strop kit.

My lovely wife said she would by me a nice razor off of SRD or Classic edge for Christmas or Birthday this winter.

Thanks again for all the help.

Sounds like you are getting off on the right foot. Now go watch lots of stroping and shaving videos. Lynn and gssixguns have some very good ones and read the beginner section.

There is a new place in west ed mall that is kind of like an art of shaving store in the states. They sell DE razors, brushes, and soaps and a few straight razors but I believe they are not shave ready.

I'll look up classic edge, I like the idea of getting a free sharpening so I will probably go with classic edge or SRD.
I have a straight being sharpened by Classic Edge right now.

    Cheers!

Stropping is a very important thing I have found and I don't think I have watched more videos of anything then on stropping. Good luck, this has been a great adventure for me so far and I wish you the best.

On the weekend i am going to spend some time going through videos. Should be fun. I don't know anybody that is interested in wet shaving or using a straight razor so I feel like I'm going my own way.

    Thanks saxxon
