Default The pieces are starting to fall in the right places.

Finally, the SR shave is starting to make sense to me.
It took me a while but now the uncertainty is starting to fade.
Lathering doesn't always work out from the first try.
I have 2 soaps, the green proraso and the DR Harris Windsor, for me the proraso is the easiest to lather.
The DR Harris is a bit more of a challenge, but I want to turn a weak point into a talent, so I keep going
A perfect shave is still a long wa to go, but I only do a WTG pass with my SR. I don't want to rush it and make sure I feel completely comfortable, have the right muscle memories and move on afterwards.
A few minor cuts, a stupid one in the nose aswel, but I consider them learning marks
    Sometimes I feel normal.
Then it's time to lay down and wait for it to pass.

Glad that it is all coming together for you. Watch that nose and your ears. They have a way of finding blade if you're not attentive.

I think everyone gets a leaning mark! Mine was right under my nose.

I think it took me about a month before I was doing a full shave, And about 6 months for the shave to not make my heart pound.

Take things slow. Once you have the full WTG passes the ATG will come naturally, It's more or less a reversal of what you already know. The best spot to attempt your first ATG passes are the cheeks, and surprisingly the sides of the neck.

Yves, this is, indeed big. Whether or not you're an instant expert, the fact that you can see how little changes make the shave more of a pleasure than a challenge is huge. You're gonna like this alot, and soon have the best shaves of your life.

They're right. There seems to be a point where your your hand and your brain just seem to be working together.
