Default A mug is a mug right?

Like most, I shave in the mornings. Some mornings it is harder to get going than others. That's why coffee is another habit for the start of my day.

One morning this week I altered my shave routine by making a cup of coffee after the shower while my brush was soaking. I like to have a clear mind before I reach for the razor anyway. I loaded my brush and built a nice lather in my bowl. Lathered up my face and did the first pass. Second pass, and then went back to touch up. As i was putting my brush back in the mug, something made me think twice and I stopped merely centimeters from dipping my brush into my coffee mug.

Anyone else every made a lanolin latte'!

Every mug is different alright. Some folks have big noses and some big mouths and some big teeth and some have round faces and some long.

Ummm... Yep! :-D A few months ago I almost dipped my brush in my morning mug of Kona coffee! Now I keep the coffee and lather mugs on opposite sides of the bathroom counter!

I have revised my coffee mug placement since the incident as well.

Since I don't drink coffee I guess this is one thing that I don't have to worry about. No lets see if I can manage to not cut my lip off tonight like I tried to last night.

My shaving mug is a coffee mug. One from a Coast Guard LORAN Station I was at. The soap fits just right.

So far I haven't drank out it. I usually don't like having my drinking mugs around where soap is flying around.

Of course, maybe you should try coffee instead of water to see if you get better lather.

Crazier things have happened! I'm sure there's a coffee scented shave soap out there. Why not just make it DIY?
