Exclamation 2nd shave!!! almost perfectly smooth

i did a little bit of stropping to my SR then did a 3 pass shave this time! i got a little bit of razor burn from my 3rd pass. and i'm having a hard time with the neck and chin area. but most of my chin is really smooth like the rest of my face. could use some tips in those problem areas lol

As you are just starting out I would say map your growth and practice patience.
The areas you mentioned are the last to click for many, I have to use scything and guillotine strokes.
Do a search here on the site and you will find a lot of information on them,
    often considered an advanced stroke.
I personally found out I was naturally using a scything stroke on certain areas of my face prior to finding SRP.

Take your time it will come, and for some certain areas a DFS is what can be achieved without discomfort.

For the record a DFS for me is still a closer and more comfortable shave than I ever got with a cartridge.

ps. put up your location a mentor can do wonders when you are beginning or having problems with any part of this journey

    TF,

The chin and sides of the mouth, AND, the lower neck are the bain of almost all of us. They're doable, but are the most challenging of all the areas to shave. You'll conquer them, as most have, but they'll test you!!

Here's a shave video by Lynn that should help in the beginning. You'll progress from here to your own style. If you get stuck, ask away, lots of help here!!
