    Default Hi all

Had my very first SR shave today. I gotta tell you it's better than I thought . I used to shave with cartridges then switch to DE 4 months ago. So as you can see, Im fairly new to wet shaving. But I couldn't get used to the DE no matter how careful i use it. I keep nicking my face with it.
Then I read it here that maybe I couldn't see the blade angle. Some suggested that I should give a SR a shot. So voila...converted
By the way.. the first shaved, it's ok kinda not BBS but what the heck, it just give more reason to shave sooner and get better at it at the same time. And oh, of course I nick just under my nose because somehow I managed to shake my head sideways while the blade on the skin. Yeah lots of blood but I'll get better at it.

Welcome aboard! I know my first several shaves were a ways from BBS, but take your time, watch your angles, and watch your pressure. Of course the shaves get closer and less irritating as your technique improves. You might want to add your location to your profile. Also, what razor are you using? No pics?

Congrats on a great start! It just gets better too.

The temptation to shave more often is a powerful one, but some guys need to give their face a bit of a break between shaves, especially when starting out. So if you find your face getting a bit irritated, give it a bit of time. But if that's the case, just be patient and before long your face will get used to the process.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Click Settings at top of page.
You should then see a left bar, click My Settings, then Edit Profile.
