    Hi guys


    Moved from the mach 3 five blade thing to DE about a year ago and saw the remarkable difference and am about to take a plunge in to the world of straights, Thomas Wilkinson 5/8, filly strop ordered and mikes natural soap
    anything else i need to order at this moment?

    Razor, strop, brush and soap is all you need. The rest is all for luxury or personal preference. Good luck

    The biggest obstacle to straight razor shaving is a blade that isn't sharp enough. Here's hoping that yours is properly honed.

    Sent it for honing as it wasn't shave ready... So here's hoping it is

    Technically a bit different. The pencil is more concentrated and will stop a bleed quick. The alum is more of a all over rub for the end instead of a spot treat.
