Default Finally found a strop I can comfortably use

Did not really feel at home with a paddle strop I bought here earlier ... but I finally found the replacement for it ..

What issues were you having with a hanging strop?

Also, you might want to have a look at this video - Thomas from denmark using newspaper attached to a book to strop his razors.

There were two main issues one is that the person who made the strop stuck the furry side of the leather up and the width is just too small for my razor

Now, I have never heard of a suede strop before. You might also try denim, canvas, your arm, an old belt.

Newspaper is slightly more abrasive than smooth plain leather. When you need to touch up the fuzzy leather paddle can be pasted.
