    Today went a lot better. Not perfect, but better. My face feels a little raw but it's nothing like the razor burn from the cartridge razor.

    angle seems to be better but now you need to work on less pressure

    Did you turn the blade around today so you were cutting with the sharp side rather than the spine?
    Only joking chin, it took me a while to get there too, in fact I think I still am, my nicest shaves are after a few days off, but I don't let that stop me shaving most days.
    Just take it easy, keep your expectations fairly low at the start, take your time, and have a day off if your face still hurts/ hasn't grown back yet.
    Glad to hear that its getting better, though that doesn't sound like its saying much
