For all newbies ....I give Kudos to Ralf Aust, SRP, SRD and the honemeisters!
Just got razor # 2 from SRD, professionally honed. It was the Ralf Aust, 6/8 stainless in black. As I have experienced with previous orders, SRD handled the transaction flawlessly and quickly and I had my new razor within a few days of ordering. also as usual, the honing by Lynn was unbelievably good, and my first shave was a dream.
I can't say enough good about SRP, SRD and Lynn. Same for Ralf Aust. I'm sure Dovo is great, but my 2 Ralf Austs are also great!

Don't have an RA but SRD is definitely A1 my order came in a couple of days and no mistakes on the order will order from them again, Glad you love your Austs.
Does the stainless shave better than the other?

Those are nice razors, honed a few recently and was very happy with grind, ease of honing, quality of edge.

Looks like a great store, have a great selection of everything. Wonder if the duty / shipping to Toronto, Ontario, Canada - would raise the cost significantly? Would like to get that DOVO Bismark!

Shouldn't be any duty on a razor if it goes through USPS.
