    What does NON XXL mean, like on Joseph Allen razors?

    That was Joseph Allen's attempt to confuse buyers who had heard of the more well known IXL of Wostenholm.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    Interesting take on that. I never thought of it. I figured that the IXL (I excel) of George Wostenholm was so well known and regarded that Joseph Allen was trying to cash in on it by having "XL" in the stamping. You might be right though.
