    I'm not sure this is the place to put it, because it could be an honest mistake. It's a nice razor, but the dating is about 100 years off: "17th Early 18th Century" it is not!

    Some folks get the century naming wrong. 19th or late 18th, perhaps would be more accurate. Appears to be a French blade with no monkey tail.

    I thought so also, but in the description the guy put explicitly "Super early 1680-1720 period" - so no, it's not that. The count is right, the dating isn't.

    I sent him a message saying the blade was broken so he updated it. He did the same thing another seller I messaged did. Instead of correcting the listing they added a comment saying the blade MIGHT be broken, but they don't know because they are not an expert.
