Thread: What's your occupation?

Just curious as to what kinds of jobs people have who like to put an unprotected super-sharp steel blade to their face regularly?Thought it might be interesting.I don't know whether this has been done before,I'm kind of new here.Guess I have to start off:
Retired NY State prison guard
US Postal service mail carrier(part time)

Former machine shop amateur, current Physical Therapist.

Truck delivery driver.

Armament, Avionics, and Electronics Technician for the Apache Helicopter. U.S. Army Aviation

Former Carpenter, current School Bus Driver.

I'm retired.

I worked in the Veterinary Medicine world. I was a manager of a number of departments at the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital at the University of California, Davis. I was there 29 years, retired and moved to Idaho where I was a purchasing agent at MWI Veterinary Supply in Nampa, Idaho for ten years until I retired for good.

Now I buy Ebay razors, refurbish and sharpen them, & shave with them - among other things!

By evening I'm a craftsman and strop maker, by day I am a process engineer managing a non-destructive testing lab for an aerospace foundry and machine shop.

Until recently I worked in a hospital, mainly in the emergency room, so sharp objects drawing blood is something I've gotten used to.
