I give up!!!
Just saw this on eBay. There were two different photos in 'Description' where a flame was being applied to the Strop. Why????

I have No idea..
The only guess I could even venture is a flowover from Sealing Leather boots for winter, we smear on Sno_seal then heat it up so it flows into the seams and deeper into the leather ..
So perhaps they are trying to get a strop conditioner to do the same ???
Getting fuzzies off like you do a sweater

I was just about to post about this very same thing! Maybe they are trying to show us that the strops double as a fire extinquisher? You know, beat out the flames?
