I just got my Red Imp strop in the mail today and it is indeed excellent shape.
Very smooth and best of all I got a great price on it

A few minor nick and scratches, but nothing major. The strop was obviously well taken care off over the years.

I will post some pics later on tonight after I eat and stuff, but I think I might just leave it alone and use it.

Here are the pics. The leather is perfect for me and I will leave it alone.
The linen looks a little dirty and has a greenish tint to it. I think I might soak it in woolite for the night. Its obvious that somebody took good care of this strop and knew had to use it.
I am concerned about cleaning the linen. It has a very tight weave and I do not won't to ruin that. Does anybody have any suggestions? Im sure JimmyHAD will chime in.
